It’s Modus across the miles! That’s right, CE Pro and Commercial Integrator just announced Modus VR as a 2021 Top New Technology Winner for Project Management and Design / Web Software at ISE in Barcelona. This is for our recently announced Modus VR Conferencing Technology Software, which is included for free within the license for everyone who uses Modus VR.
We’re both excited and humbled to have just learned of receiving this coveted TNT Award at the the ISE show running June 1 through June 4. This unique program brings both CE Pro and Commercial Integrator together to recognize the new and most outstanding products and services at ISE for global visibility. And Modus VR made the list!

We’ve taken all our experience in the residential world and brought VR to our dealers who are providing commercial integration as well. The latest additions make it easier for all stakeholders on a commercial project to create conference rooms that match the real layout of a given space in Virtual Reality. Designs can be built in real time complete with A/V equipment, furniture, microphones, cameras and more.
New commercial objects include several products from the ever-expanding Modus VR partners such as Logitech, Salamander Designs, Bose, Barco, Avocor and more.
One of the coolest new features is our Camera Field Of View (FOV) Design Assistant. This new field-of-view tool allows proper design and deployment of cameras based on room size, table shapes and other challenging aspects of precision camera placement. In seconds you can preview locations in real-time and see how cameras will perform best and where they should be placed. Yes, participants can see what the camera sees, taking into account the camera’s pan, tilt and zoom settings!
Another compelling new feature is the Pixel Pitch Design Assistant. Previously, deciding and specifying LED video walls was challenging because of the difficulty determining correct pixel pitch. Now you can verify the screen pitch and possible positions of viewers, and thereby decide how best to set up the conference room or space. Using an innovative color-coded system, Modus VR software indicates what will be the ideal viewing experience based on the viewer’s location, so you can strike the best balance of performance and cost for all project stakeholders.
